حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْب
َرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لَا يَصْبُغُونَ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ

English Translation
Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abdullah informed us, Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman informed me, that Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: A bedouin urinated in the mosque. The people rose up against him, but the Prophet ﷺ said to them: 'Leave him and pour a bucket of water — or a pail of water — over his urine. You have been sent to make things easy, not to make things difficult.'
