حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاش

ٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَالْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاسِطَ فَمَاتَ حِينَ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْتَكِفُ عِشْرِينَ يَوْمًا

English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, he said Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Abu Hasin, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to love comprehensive supplications and would leave what was besides them.
