حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْ
رِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْعَبْدِ الْمَمْلُوكِ الْمُصْلِحِ أَجْرَانِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَجُّ وَبِرُّ أُمِّي لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَمُوتَ وَأَنَا مَمْلُوكٌ

English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Talaqani narrated to us, he said Abdullah narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri, he said I heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab saying: Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not single out Friday night from among the nights for qiyam (night prayer), and do not single out Friday from among the days for fasting, unless it falls on a day that one of you regularly fasts.'
