Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلّ

َمَ كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ سَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَإِنْ قِيلَ هَدِيَّةٌ أَكَلَ وَإِنْ قِيلَ صَدَقَةٌ قَالَ كُلُوا وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, he said Hammad narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, he said I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Abu al-Qasim, if you only knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.'
