حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ
قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقَدَّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَمَضَانَ بِصَوْمِ يَوْمٍ وَلَا يَوْمَيْنِ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ كَانَ صِيَامَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, he said Hammam narrated to us, he said Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, he said Abu Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.'
