English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Hisham ibn Hassan al-Qurdusi narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'A good deed is rewarded tenfold, and fasting is for Me and I reward for it. He leaves his food and drink for My sake. Fasting is for Me and I reward for it. And the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah (عز وجل) than the fragrance of musk.'
