حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَلَاثٌ كُلُّهُنَّ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ عِيَادَةُ الْمَرِيضِ وَشُهُودُ الْجِنَازَةِ وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ إِذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Abu Awanah narrated to us, Umar ibn Abi Salamah narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Do not curse time, for indeed Allah is Time (i.e., He is the controller of time).'
