English Translation
'Affan narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim narrated to us: al-'Ala ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The servant says: My wealth, my wealth! But only three things from his wealth are truly his: what he ate and consumed, what he wore and wore out, or what he gave and stored (as reward with Allah). Whatever is beyond that is departing, and he leaves it for people.'
