حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْ

بُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ

English Translation

Qutaybah narrated to us: Ya'qub ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah (عز وجل) says: 'My believing servant has no reward with Me, when I take his beloved one from the people of the world and he then bears it patiently seeking reward, except Paradise.'
