حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سُ
مَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ شَكَا النَّاسُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتْحَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ

English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: Ya'qub narrated to us, from Ibn 'Ajlan, from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: The people complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the gap between the elbows (difficulty in prostration). the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded them to support themselves with their knees.
