English Translation

Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Humayd al-Kharrat, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever comes to this mosque of mine only to learn or teach something good, he is like one who strives in the path of Allah. And whoever comes for any other purpose, he is like a man looking at the possessions of others.'
