حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ال
ْخَرَّاطِ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جَاءَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا لَمْ يَأْتِ إِلَّا لِخَيْرٍ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ جَاءَ لِغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ رَجُلٍ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَتَاعِ غَيْرِهِ

English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Humayd al-Kharrat, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever comes to this mosque of mine only to learn or teach something good, he is like one who strives in the path of Allah. And whoever comes for any other purpose, he is like a man looking at the possessions of others.'
