حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ فَأَرْشَدَ اللَّهُ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَغَفَرَ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

English Translation
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The imam is a guarantor and the mu'adhdhin is a trustee. May Allah guide the imams and forgive the mu'adhdhins.'
