Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْرُوفُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الْجُذَامِ
يُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ رَبَاحٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ

English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Ma'ruf ibn Suwayd al-Judhami narrated to me that he heard 'Ali ibn Rabah saying: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no contagion (spreading by itself without Allah's decree), and no evil omen, but the evil eye is real."
