حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ مَوْلَى آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ ابْنِ مَرْجَانَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ إِرْبٍ مِنْهَا إِرْبًا مِنْهُ مِنْ النَّارِ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيُ
عْتِقُ بِالْيَدِ الْيَدَ وَبِالرِّجْلِ الرِّجْلَ وَبِالْفَرْجِ الْفَرْجَ قَالَ فَقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ نَعَمْ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ لِغُلَامٍ لَهُ أَفْرَهُ غِلْمَانِهِ ادْعُ لِي مُطْرِبًا فَلَمَّا قَامَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَأَنْتَ حُرٌّ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى

English Translation
Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah, meaning Ibn Sa'id ibn Abi Hind, narrated to us from Isma'il ibn Abi Hakim, the freed slave of the family of al-Zubayr, from Sa'id ibn Marjanah, that he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever frees a believing slave, Allah will free every limb of his from the Fire in exchange for every limb of the slave — even his hand for the slave's hand, his foot for the slave's foot, and his private parts for the slave's private parts." Sa'id said: 'Ali ibn al-Husayn said: "Did you hear this from Abu Hurayrah?" Sa'id said: "Yes." So 'Ali ibn al-Husayn said to a servant of his, the most valued of his servants: "Call Mutrib for me." When he stood before him, he said: "Go, you are free for the sake of Allah (تعالى)."
