English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: al-A'mash narrated to us from Abu Razin, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: I saw him striking his forehead with his hand and saying: "O people of Iraq, you claim that I lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Let the benefit be for you and the sin upon me! I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'If the strap of one of your sandals breaks, he should not walk in the other one until he repairs it.'"
