حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَب

ِي الْحَكَمِ مَوْلَى اللَّيْثِيِّينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا سَبَقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ

English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, both said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us from Abu al-Hakam, the freed slave of the Laythiyyun, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no prize-racing except in camel (khuff) or horse (hafir)."
