حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُنْكَحَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَالْعَمَّةُ عَلَى بِنْتِ أَخِيهَا وَالْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَالْخَالَةُ عَلَى بِنْتِ أُخْتِهَا لَا تُنْكَحُ الْكُبْرَى عَلَى الصُّغْرَى وَلَا الصُّغْرَى عَلَى الْكُبْرَى
English Translation
Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, he said: Dawud ibn Abi Hind narrated to us from al-Sha'bi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited that a woman be married along with her paternal aunt, or the paternal aunt along with her brother's daughter, or a woman along with her maternal aunt, or the maternal aunt along with her sister's daughter. Neither the elder upon the younger, nor the younger upon the elder.
