َمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَحْفَظُهُ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ الم تَنْزِيلُ وَهَلْ أَتَى

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us from Sufyan, he said: Sa'd ibn Ibrahim narrated to me from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) — and Ibn Ja'far said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah — from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: I memorize it: "the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the Fajr prayer on Friday 'Alif Lam Mim Tanzil' (Surah al-Sajdah) and 'Hal Ata' (Surah al-Insan)."
