Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُحْشَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفُحْشَ وَالتَّفَحُّشَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ فَإِنَّهُ دَعَا مَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ فَاسْتَحَلُّوا مَحَارِمَهُمْ وَسَفَكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ وَقَطَّعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَي

ْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا زَنَتْ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى الْحَدِيثِ يَعْنِي لِيَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from 'Ubaydullah, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id narrated to me from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ said: "Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of obscenity, for Allah does not love obscenity or indecent behavior. Beware of miserliness, for it led those before you to violate their sacred things, shed their blood, and sever their family ties." Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Umawi also narrated to us from 'Ubaydullah, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If the servant-girl of one of you commits fornication..." and he mentioned the hadith with the same meaning. Yahya al-Qattan also narrated from Ibn 'Ajlan from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah: "Beware of oppression" and he mentioned the hadith.
