English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, he said Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Abu Yunus, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Allah, indeed I take a covenant with You that You will never break: I am only a human being. So any believer whom I have harmed, insulted, cursed, or lashed — make it for him a prayer, purification, and a means of nearness by which You bring him close to You on the Day of Resurrection.'
