English Translation

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, he said al-Hasan, meaning Ibn Salih, narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Ata', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'When one of you leads the people in prayer, let him make it short, for among them are the young, the elderly, the weak, and the sick. And when one of you prays alone, let him pray as long as he wishes.'
