حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَيْرٍ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَ

نْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ أَشْعَرُ بَيْتٍ قَالَتْهُ الْعَرَبُ أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللَّهَ بَاطِلُ وَكَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ

English Translation

Aswad narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Ibn Umayr, meaning Abd al-Malik, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'When one of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can, for indeed Shaytan enters [the mouth].'
