English Translation

Waki' narrated to us from Ibrahim ibn al-Fadl, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a fly falls into the food or drink of one of you, let him dip it (fully) and then remove it, for in one of its wings there is disease and in the other there is cure, and it presents the wing with disease first.'
