حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ ثُوَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَشْتَكِي قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ يَعُودُنِي فَقَالَ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ أَلَا أَرْق
ِيكَ بِرُقْيَةٍ رَقَانِي بِهَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام قُلْتُ بَلَى بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: Sufyan narrated to us — and 'Abd al-Rahman from Sufyan — from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from Ziyad ibn Thuwayb, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ came to visit me while I was sick. 'Abd al-Rahman said in his narration: 'visiting me.' He ﷺ said: 'Shall I not teach you' — 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'Shall I not perform ruqyah upon you with a ruqyah that Jibril (عليه السلام) performed upon me?' I said: 'Yes, by my father and mother!' He ﷺ said: 'In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah upon you. May Allah cure you from every illness that harms you, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.' 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'from every illness within you.'
