حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَوْشَبُ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَهْدِيٌّ الْعَبْدِيُّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ د
َخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: Hawshab ibn 'Aqil narrated to us, who said: Mahdi al-'Abdi narrated to me from 'Ikrimah, who said: 'I entered upon Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) in his house and asked him about fasting the Day of 'Arafah at 'Arafat.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited fasting the Day of 'Arafah at 'Arafat.'
