English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from Ibn 'Ajlan, who said: al-Qa'qa' ibn Hakim narrated to me from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night and prays, and wakes up his wife to pray. If she refuses, he sprinkles water on her face. And may Allah have mercy on a woman who gets up at night and wakes up her husband to pray. If he refuses, she sprinkles water on his face.'
