حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ الطُّفَيْلُ وَأَصْحَ

ابُهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ اسْتَعْصَتْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَأْتِ بِهِمْ

English Translation

Waki' narrated to us from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: When al-Tufayl and his companions came to the Prophet ﷺ, he (al-Tufayl) said: 'Indeed, Daws (his tribe) has disobeyed.' He ﷺ said: 'O Allah, guide Daws and bring them.'
