English Translation

Isma'il ibn 'Umar narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "Al-Hamdu lillah (All praise is due to Allah) is Umm al-Qur'an (the Mother of the Quran), Umm al-Kitab (the Mother of the Book), and al-Sab' al-Mathani (the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses)."
