حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ اخْتَصَمَ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا وَسَلَّمَ فَخَصَمَ آدَمُ مُوسَى فَقَالَ مُوسَى أَنْتَ آدَمُ الَّذِي أَشْقَيْتَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَ آدَمُ أَنْتَ مُوسَى الَّذِي اصْطَفَاكَ اللَّهُ بِرِسَالَاتِهِ وَبِ
كَلَامِهِ وَأَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ التَّوْرَاةَ أَلَيْسَ تَجِدُ فِيهَا أَنْ قَدْ قَدَّرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَنِي قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ فَحَجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَكْفِينِي أَوَّلُ الْحَدِيثِ فَخَصَمَ آدَمُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Awn informed us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: Adam and Musa (عليهما السلام) debated, and Adam prevailed over Musa. Musa said: "You are Adam who brought misery upon mankind and expelled them from Paradise." Adam said: "You are Musa whom Allah chose with His messages and His speech, and upon whom He sent down the Torah. Do you not find in it that Allah had decreed this upon me before He created me?" He said: "Yes." 'Amr ibn Sa'id and Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Himyari said: "So Adam prevailed over Musa." Muhammad said: "The beginning of the hadith suffices me: Adam prevailed over Musa (عليهما السلام)."
