Hadith #18

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَ
نِي ثَابِتٌ الزُّرَقِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الرِّيحَ فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالْعَذَابِ وَلَكِنْ سَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَتَعَوَّذُوا مِنْ شَرِّهَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, who said: al-Awza'i narrated to us, who said: al-Zuhri narrated to me, who said: Thabit al-Zuraqi narrated to me, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not curse the wind, for it brings mercy and punishment. Rather, ask Allah for its good and seek refuge from its evil.'
