Hadith #180
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي ا
لزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمٌ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي ثُمَّ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, he said: Muhammad, meaning Ibn Ishaq, informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "By the One in Whose Hand is Muhammad's soul, there will surely come upon one of you a day when seeing me would be dearer to him than having the equivalent of his family and wealth."
