Hadith #182
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ
بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ وَفِي مُؤَخَّرِ الصُّفُوفِ رَجُلٌ فَأَسَاءَ الصَّلَاةَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ نَادَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا فُلَانُ أَلَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ أَلَا تَرَى كَيْفَ تُصَلِّي إِنَّكُمْ تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ يَخْفَى عَلَيَّ شَيْءٌ مِمَّا تَصْنَعُونَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَى مِنْ خَلْفِي كَمَا أَرَى مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, he said: Muhammad, meaning Ibn Ishaq, informed us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in Dhuhr prayer, and in the back rows there was a man who performed the prayer poorly. When the Prophet ﷺ finished with the salam, he called out to him: "O so-and-so, do you not fear Allah? Do you not see how you pray? You think that nothing of what you do is hidden from me. By Allah, I can see from behind me just as I see from in front of me."
