حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ مُعَيْقِيبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يُضْبَطْ إِسْنَادُهُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْع
ُتْوَارِيُّ وَهُوَ صَاحِبُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَعَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَصَلَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, he said: Muhammad informed us, from 'Ubaydullah ibn al-Mughirah ibn Mu'ayqib, from 'Amr ibn Sulayman ibn 'Abd — Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: The isnad was not precisely preserved; rather it is Sulayman ibn 'Amr ibn 'Abd al-'Utwari, and he is the companion of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, Abu al-Haytham — from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri; and from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه). They both said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, I take a covenant with You that You will never break. I am only a human being, so whichever of the believers I have harmed, or insulted, or cursed, or struck, make it for him a purification, a prayer, and a means of drawing near to You on the Day of Resurrection."
