Hadith #215

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْأَرْبَعِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ

English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Layth narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id narrated to me, from his brother 'Abbad ibn Abi Sa'id, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge with You from four things: from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered."
