حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي نُعْمٍ عَ
Body (Matn)
نْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْوَرِقُ بِالْوَرِقِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ يَدًا بِيَدٍ مَنْ زَادَ أَوْ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, who said: Fudayl ibn Ghazwan narrated to us, who said: Ibn Abi Nu'm narrated to me from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Gold for gold, silver for silver, silver coins for silver coins, like for like, hand to hand. Whoever adds or asks for more has engaged in riba (usury).'
