حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَثَلُ الْقَائِمِ لَا يَفْتُرُ وَمَثَلُ الصَّائِمِ لَا يُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "The likeness of the one who strives in the way of Allah is like the one who stands (in prayer) without tiring and fasts without breaking his fast, until the one striving in the way of Allah (عز وجل) returns."
