حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ مِنْ النَّخْع
ِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكَنَّوْا بِكُنْيَتِي

English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us; and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Yazid — Hajjaj said: from al-Nakha' — who said: I heard Abu Zur'ah from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunya."
