وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

قَالَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنْ شِئْتَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا مُسْتَكْرِهَ لَهُ وَلَكِنْ لِيَعْزِمْ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ

English Translation
With the same chain, the Prophet ﷺ said: "Let none of you say: 'O Allah, forgive me if You will,' for there is none who can compel Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Rather, let him be resolute in his asking."
