حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَعَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ

عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيَخْرُجَنَّ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ رِجَالٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Men will certainly leave al-Madinah out of desire for other than it, while al-Madinah is better for them, if only they knew."
