English Translation

With the same chain, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not go out to meet the riders (to buy goods before they reach the market). Let none of you sell over the sale of another. Do not engage in najash (bidding up the price with no intent to buy). Let no city-dweller sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Do not tie up the udders of camels and sheep (to deceive about milk yield). Whoever buys such an animal after that has two options after milking it: if he is satisfied, he keeps it; and if he is displeased, he returns it along with a sa' of dates."
