حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَن

ِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The imam is a guarantor and the muezzin is trusted. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins."
