Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنِ أ
Body (Matn)
َبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي عَمَّا حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ أَوْ تَكَلَّمْ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Allah has pardoned my ummah for what they talk to themselves about (internal thoughts), so long as they do not act upon it or speak of it."
