Hadith #534
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ الشِّكَالَ مِنْ الْخَيْلِ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "I have been preferred over the other prophets with six (qualities): I have been given comprehensive speech; I have been aided by awe (cast into the hearts of enemies) for a distance of one month's travel; war spoils have been made lawful for me; the earth has been made a place of prayer and purification for me; I have been sent to all of mankind; and the line of prophets has been sealed with me."
