English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The thayyib (previously married woman) shall not be married until she is consulted, and the virgin shall not be married until her permission is sought." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how is her permission given?" He said: "By her silence."
