حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ

لَّمَ رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَلَاكَهَا فِي فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِخْ كِخْ ثَلَاثًا إِنَّا لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ saw al-Hasan ibn 'Ali take a date from the charity dates. He said: "Spit it out! Spit it out! Throw it away! Do you not know that we (the family of Muhammad) do not eat from charity?"
