English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz, meaning Ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Salamah, narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, from Ibrahim ibn Qariz, who said: I saw Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) performing wudu'. He washed his face and perfected his wudu', then washed his right hand until it reached his upper arm, then washed his left hand until it reached his upper arm, then wiped his head, then washed his right foot until it reached his shin, then washed his left foot until it reached his shin. Then he said: This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform wudu'. And he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You will be ghurr muhajjalin (distinguished by radiance) on the Day of Resurrection from the traces of wudu'. So whoever among you can extend his radiance, let him do so.'
