حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَسْرِقُ السَّارِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَالتَّوْبَةُ مَعْرُوضَةٌ بَعْدُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer at the time of committing it, and the thief does not steal while he is a believer at the time of stealing, and the drinker of wine does not drink it while he is a believer at the time of drinking it.'
