English Translation
Abu Usamah narrated to us, who said: al-A'mash informed me from Abu Yahya, the mawla of Ja'dah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, such-and-such woman is mentioned for her abundant prayer, fasting, and charity, except that she harms her neighbors with her tongue.' He ﷺ said: 'She is in the Fire.' The man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, and such-and-such woman is mentioned for her little fasting, charity, and prayer, yet she gives pieces of dried curd in charity and does not harm her neighbors with her tongue.' He ﷺ said: 'She is in Paradise.'
