English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A woman who had epileptic fits came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to cure me.' He ﷺ said: 'If you wish, I will supplicate to Allah to cure you. And if you wish, you can be patient and there will be no reckoning upon you.' She said: 'Rather, I will be patient and there will be no reckoning upon me.'
