English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, who said: Dawud narrated to us from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The most common cause for people to enter the Fire is the two hollow things.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what are the two hollow things?' He said: 'The private parts and the mouth.' He said: 'Do you know what most commonly admits people to Paradise? Taqwa (consciousness of Allah) and good character.'
